1/2/2024 0 Comments Netgear cax30Netgear had me checked the Dowstream Bonded Channels. I updated the Netgear to the latest firmware and had the same results. They told me that it may be a firmware related issue and that I needed to update. After being on the phone with Xfinity to provision it, I was only getting about 150Mbps down and 40 Up (Wired Straight to gateway). Brand New Netgear CAX30, just purchased yesterday from Costco (Netgear Mesh, now is configured on AP mode). I started doing some research and I found tons of forums which they mention how it may be a firmware issue on the xb7 and Xfinity had to fix it. Even when I bypassed the Netgear Mesh, my speeds were not optimal. As soon as I did that, I noticed my speeds dropped down to about 200 Mbps. I got rid of the xfi pods and bought a Netgear Mesh MR60 with the two satellites. After countless issues with wifi signal coverage. They gave me an XB7 gateway which I had for a few months.
